Delhi govt to built 7,400 low-cost flats for slum dwellers
This is the news related to the real estate Delhi news The Delhi govt has approved a real estate project in which 7,400 low-cost flats will be constructed for the people who come under the category of slum dwellers and economically weaker section
The cost of this project is about Rs 356.79 crore was was approved at a meeting of the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB) and the Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit were also present there
As far the location of these low-cost flats for slum dwellers is concerned the location of these flats will be at Pocket-II in Bhalaswa area of Jahangirpuri in North Delhi.
“The project will be implemented under the Jawaharlal Nehru Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) and it will cost Rs 356.79 crore,” said an official.
It had been decided that govt earlier that 72,000 low-cost flats in next two years for allotment among slum dwellers
